Our MD track performance Brake ventilation set is ideal for cooling your brakes, because with this set you get everything you need.
The MD-TrackPerformance anchor plates have an integrated 60mm hose connection, which was placed so that the air is directed exactly to the brake disc pot. This ensures that the air is directed through the internally ventilated brake disc, which means that the brake cools down quickly after a hard braking maneuver, so that the brake can develop its full performance again for the next curve.
Brake ventilation protects the components and significantly increases the service life of the disc and pads. In addition, what is known in professional circles as “fading” is prevented!
The sheet metal is exactly the same size to protect all important components such as the tie rod end.
Installing the anchor plates is quite easy, thanks to our design we have managed to install them without removing the wheel bearing!
The air in our assembled set can be easily tapped using the included funnels at the brake ventilation opening on the bumper. The funnels also have a hose connection, which is designed in the same version as the anchor plate.
The funnels are installed from the rear. We would recommend installation using body adhesive!
The air is directed from the funnel to the anchor plate using the included flexible hose. This can be easily attached to the anchor plate and funnel using our included hose clamps.
