Transmission mount aluminum rigid suitable for BMW E36 6-cylinder
Our rigid gearbox bearings are made from high-strength aluminum 7075 on modern CNC machines. By installing these bearings, you create a rigid connection between the transmission and the body. However, you must note that the installation also transfers vibrations to the body of the engine.
We still recommend installing our bearings, as it gives a much more direct feeling during load changes. Unfortunately, the engine and transmission mounts ex works are made of rubber that is far too soft, which increases driving comfort in everyday life, but also reduces the direct feeling.
For vehicles that are primarily driven in normal road traffic, we recommend our PU engine and transmission mounts, which we now also have in our range.
Our engine and gearbox mounts have an anti-twist device which ensures easy installation.
