With the of MD TrackPerformance Reinforcement plates manufactured for the rear axle of your BMW will soon make broken axles a thing of the past. The 4-piece set is welded at the points where the rear axle is welded to the body. The 4 plates distribute the force better due to the larger area and no stress cracks occur. These cracks often occur in vehicles that are converted for motorsport. Our sheets are a mandatory component, especially in connection with installed rigid or harder chassis bushings. This is because the bearings absorb less force and therefore the body is subjected to greater stress at the points described above.
We definitely recommend the set in connection with chassis tuning. But we also recommend this set when used with original bearings, because there is nothing more annoying than discovering a defect like a torn axle in the middle of the season.
